Rare metal shelf covered in red leather. France Circa 1955-1960

Saddle stitch - Pique Sellier. Brass hardware.

Two shelves covered in black leather on Dacron and wood.

Can also be used as a table. This shelf-table is very sturdy because It was originally used as a luggage rack.

Provenance: Parisian hotel where we also acquired a very large set of chairs, lamps, tables by Jacques Adnet, all in original condition.

Some pictures are showing this shelf with a Floor lamp by Jacques Adnet and a painting by Colette Gueden.

We also have a picture of this shelf/table in its original condition in the hotel.

Materials / Techniques: Metal, leather, brass.

Condition: Red leather in original condition. The shelves have been recovered later in Black leather. Hardware in original condition with some degrees of patina and oxidation.

Height of the upper shelf: 20"
