About the Artist: MATHIAS (Greg, Grégoire), or Greg MATHIAS, Sculptor and painter born in 1967 in Dordogne, France (Ec. Française) Graduaded from "l'école Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (1989)". Student of Iscan, Licata and Delamarche.
Before ending up in the drawing and painting artworks, Mathias worked with different other materials as marble, terra-cotta that he used to make sculptures. In 1986, he worked with the sculptor Bogratchew, (student of Zadkine and Henry Moore).
We could find some of his works in several events at Galerie des Beaux Arts Paris, France, Pont Aven City Hall Bretagne, France, Centre des Arts of Chateauroux, France, Vaux sur Lunain Church, Galerie Le Viel Ocean (La Baule), France, Retrospective Palais des Arts of Concarneau, Galerie Montauti, Nice, France. He exhibited in Paris as well, Brest, France (Monumental fresco in the "château d'eau du Croazou in Plounevez-Lochrist ", Pont-Aven, Bretagne, France and abroad, New-York, Los Angeles, Riyadh. He realized some artworks in U.S.A (New-york, Los Angeles).
Recently, the very impressive and largest painting by the artist titled " The Brooklyn Bridge in New York " has been sold by the gallery to reach a great collection in Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA.
